Shredded Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients
- 2 12-oz packages Brussels sprouts, ends and brown leaves trimmed
- 2 Tbsp butter unsalted
- 2 Tbsp avocado oil
- Pinch of garlic powder
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 Tbsp thickened balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- Shred Brussels sprouts using large slicing disc in food processor.
- Set aside.
- In a large pan over medium heat, add the butter and avocado oil.
- Add Brussels sprouts and garlic powder.
- Stir.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Stir and continue to cook for 4 – 5 minutes.
- Should become tender but still stay bright green.
- Add balsamic vinegar.
- Stir and taste.
- You may want to add more salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.
