Dr. Nandi’s Vegan chocolate banana smoothie

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 sliced frozen organic bananas (I suggest you slice before you freeze)
  • 3 medjool dates (pitted and soaked in the almond milk for 20-30 minutes)
  • 2 Tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 tsp of chia seeds
  1. Remove pits from dates and soak in the almond milk for 20-30 minutes to soften.
  2. Add almond milk to blender first, frozen banana slices, dates, raw cacao powder.
  3. Blend on high until completely smooth.
  4. Top with chia seeds

Look for a raw cacao powder with very little or no added sugar.
