Shredded Brussels Sprouts

  • 2 12-oz packages Brussels sprouts, ends and brown leaves trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp butter (unsalted)
  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil
  • Pinch of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp thickened balsamic vinegar
  1. Shred Brussels sprouts using large slicing disc in food processor.
  2. Set aside.
  3. In a large pan over medium heat, add the butter and avocado oil.
  4. Add Brussels sprouts and garlic powder.
  5. Stir.
  6. Add salt and pepper.
  7. Stir and continue to cook for 4 – 5 minutes.
  8. Should become tender but still stay  bright green.
  9. Add balsamic vinegar.
  10. Stir and taste.
  11. You may want to add more salt and pepper.
  12. Serve hot.
