Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry Sauce

  1. Rinse fresh cranberries and drain off water.
  2. Discard any cranberries that are not firm.
  3. Using a large saucepan over medium-high heat, add honey, water and cranberries.
  4. Combine mixture.
  5. Bring mixture to a boil and then reduce heat to medium-low.
  6. Continue to cook and stir. Cranberries will pop open and mixture will thicken. (about 7-12 minutes)
  7. Remove from heat and stir in orange zest.
  8. Add cinnamon and orange juice. Taste.
  9. If sauce is too tart, add in more orange juice or honey to taste.
