Cayenne Pepper Sauce

  • 8 oz. fresh cayenne peppers (stems removed)
  • 6-7 fresh jalapenos (stems removed)
  • 3 hot cherry peppers
  • 8 cloves garlic (peeled, hard tips cut off)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 4 cups white vinegar
  1. In a medium pot over medium-high heat, add the vinegar, peppers, garlic, and salt.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and cover.
  4. Simmer for 20-25 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool and then pour mixture into a blender.
  6. Set pot aside.
  7. Blend until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
  8. Strain through a mesh strainer.
  9. Pour back into pot.
  10. Bring mixture back to fast boil over high heat.
  11. When mixture reaches a boil, turn off heat and allow to cool.
  12. Pour into airtight container.
