Black Cod With Sweet Ginger

  • 1 lb. Kodiak Fish Market black cod fillet

Marinade:

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup mirin (found in Asian food isle)
  • 1 Tbsp fresh shredded ginger
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)

Garnish:

  • 1/2 cup green onion (chopped)
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds
  1. Marinade fish for 30 minutes or more,┬áthen pan saute’ the fish for three to five minutes on each side.
  2. Add some of the marinade while cooking for a more moist dish.
  3. When the fish is nearly done, add green onion and sesame seeds to lightly cook before serving.
