Black Cod With Sweet Ginger

  • 1 lb. Kodiak Fish Market black cod fillet


  • 1 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup mirin (found in Asian food isle)
  • 1 Tbsp fresh shredded ginger
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)


  • 1/2 cup green onion (chopped)
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds
  1. Marinade fish for 30 minutes or more, then pan saute’ the fish for three to five minutes on each side.
  2. Add some of the marinade while cooking for a more moist dish.
  3. When the fish is nearly done, add green onion and sesame seeds to lightly cook before serving.
