Black Cod With Sweet Ginger
- 1 lb. Kodiak Fish Market black cod fillet
Marinade:
- 1 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 3/4 cup mirin (found in Asian food isle)
- 1 Tbsp fresh shredded ginger
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
Garnish:
- 1/2 cup green onion (chopped)
- 1 Tbsp sesame seeds
- Marinade fish for 30 minutes or more, then pan saute’ the fish for three to five minutes on each side.
- Add some of the marinade while cooking for a more moist dish.
- When the fish is nearly done, add green onion and sesame seeds to lightly cook before serving.
